Patches and code I've written to improve iPodLinux and Podzilla in 2005. Most of this code probably isn't applicable to the current iPodLinux code. It did work back then and has been tested with my 2nd generation iPod mini.
Podzilla hold backlight switch
This patch makes the backlight of the iPod go off when the hold switch is on. This can be useful when you have the backlight always-on when operating, but want it off when in the pocket.
Podzilla mpdc appearance
This makes the "mpdc" GUI interface in Podzilla usable with monochrome iPods.
Backlight swiching utility
This is the backlight switching code from Podzilla put into its own command-line utility so it can be used in initscripts to turn on the backlight.
